I'm so pissed with my D&T teacher now. =.= She refused to mark my work, so that means I have a high chance of failing D&T. The stupid thing is she still wants me to complete all my work and hand it in despite the fact that she's not willing to give marks. =.= Stupid.
Anyway, I already watch G-Force with Chee Wai and his younger bro, Zhi Liang!! 3-D VERSION!! :DD That's the good thing la~~ LOL!! Another good thing is, Mama is gonna renovate 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the total is $67,000. Papa is willing to pay, but Mama wasn't very happy since she keeps saying the guys are trying to extort lots of $$$ from us. She's planning on finding another carpenter for a more reasonable price ranging $20,000 to $30,000. So the bad part of the news is that the renovation will be delayed...
Anyway, I'm gonna meet up with this HerShop girl to pay for my clothes in cash. 3 pieces, $69 in total, which is so damn cheap!! Too bad the outfits I wanted on those bag pictures aren't available for sale... :(
I got a cap something like the one in the 2nd picture. Just that it's purple in colour with yellow, sewn flowers. DAMN SAD THE ONES I WANT NOT AVAILABLE LOR!! But I'll try and figure out a way to get an identical one somewhere out there. Oh yeah, I'm gonna go Japan, Hokkaido, right after my exams so I can get plenty of clothes there!! :DD
Too bad I have to miss out on Mama's Las Vegas business trip with Papa. It's during my examination period, and that sucks, 'cuz I'm sure Las Vegas has awesome clothes and awesome, wild people too!!
When I went to Mama with Berlin, the people there weren't as unfriendly as I thought them to be!! Although their history is kind of frightening... Valencia should be nice. I've never gone there. My sister went with Mama instead.
Anyway, the dresses I'm gonna buy from HerShop are these:
HAHA!! What say you? Maybe I should leave out either the black or red dress...? I'm not getting the cap, 'cuz I think it's hideous. :(
They say they're gonna give me a mysterious, free gift when I collect 'em!! YAY!! I wonder what it is... I'm afraid I'm eating into their budget because I know they don't earn much. Wish them luck.
I'm so willing to pay additional $150 for the unavailable stuff!! WAAAA~~!! But I never tell them la, if not, I'll be putting them under pressure if they really don't have... O_O I want them!! But I'm gonna go to Hokkaido~~ (YAY!! And I know Joce and CY are cursing my luck now...) Bro will be coming along, so I'm expecting ultra cute Japanese chicks to discreetly swoon over him and/or try to hook him up. The sad but fortunate fact is, he won't be able to answer in their language... YAY!!
I heard that Japan's stress rate is high, thus the sex rate is high. They say, many Japanese people have natural, raging hormones, which I find really scary whenever I think about it and all the hentai and porn stuff they come up with... It's so gross lor, hentai!! Cartoon fucking. OMGG~~ IDK why people like them. I rather settle for real porn.
If you wanna check HerShop stuff and order them, click here for bags and here for dresses. You can SMS her: 98238335 and/or e-mail her: heronlineshop@ymail.com. Be nice to her, OK? :)
Right now, I'm so fucking upset I couldn't get much studying done at all yesterday. ALL I did was a revision on 5 chapters of A Math!! Call me crazy, but that's not enough, because I had the rest of the day (2 pm to 7 pm, then 9 pm to 12 am) to do the other subjects but I ended up getting addicted on this bloody annoying but tempting book, "Shopaholoic Abroad" by Sophie Kinsella!! AAAAAAAAARGH!! How on earth am I going to do well for my D&T?!! Cai Long never stop me!! Say "I needed to take it cool". TAKE IT COOL?!! WHEN NEXT WEEK IS EXAM?!!
Just got back from the market with Papa and Mama for breakfast. I didn't really sleep much at CY's house since we were up with CL playing monopoly, talking and watching HEROES on TV. When I got home, I slept from 8 am until 12 pm, and I'm so fucking angry with myself. So that means I will have to sleep a lot until 3 pm, study all the way 'til tomorrow 6 am to make up for the time lost. :)
I was thrown out of the house. Down the flight of stairs I went, tumbling over those hard edges until my head bashed against the concrete floor.
"Make good use of the whole night to reflect on yourself," she snarled, her razor-sharp words slashing its menace into my bones and branding new scars among the old. The loud, angry slam of the door sent my fragile, bruised and broken body shuddering at the hateful vibes directed at me. I tried to shut out the horrible memories of that recent event. I tried to forget the way she shoved me onto the wall and screamed into my ears, shattering me, but to no avail. The boxes she landed on my jaw and ribcage still had that frightful, lingering pain.
I slowly got to my feet and pondered on what I should do next. She had thrown me out of the house the way people would carelessly drop their kittens off at their front porch. She thought I would be like that kitten and wait and where I was dropped off, in hope that I could soon get back into the house once she let me.
Instead, I headed towards the park. I tread quietly onto the soft, wet, prickly grass. The water stung the cuts on my swollen feet, but I walked on, ignoring the sharp pain. It was altogether frightening and thrilling, walking alone in the park at night. Drunk to the point that I was dizzy with mixed feelings, I happened upon the deep, wide canal just outside the outline of the park. Its initially calm waters were rippled, and I could soft mews beneath. Out of curiosity, I leaned over the barrier and searched the sparkling waters. I saw my hideous reflection. My lips were busted, my left eye swollen shut and my hair in disarray.
Another soft mew echoed the silent night, and that was when I saw that sooty-black cat with its outrageous, lime-green eyes staring at me. As I watched it float in the waters, bobbing to the waves with a huge, contented smile plastered to its face, I felt a dangerous temptation to join it.
"Why not?" I thought and kicked off without hesitation, headfirst into the black river's chilly embrace, letting it swallow me whole.
I am so worried for my results, and I have so much to do!! So tomorrow, I'm gonna wake up at 5, study 'til 10, go to the library straight away with Cai Long, Cai Yue and Chee Wai (LOL!! All start with letter C) to study. I have to complete and perfect all my D&T work and journal, study the chapter on rivers and coasts for Geography, pract. A Math and E Math, memorise Chemistry like crazy and practice Physics. Still have to do a bit of practice on my Chinese. So..
Study, then 10 a.m. meet at library
Rivers and Coasts rev. and summary notes
E & A Math practice
Chemistry notes and memorising
Physics notes
Lunner (You can call me lame, but I'm putting this in my dictionary as a hybrid of lunch and dinner)
Go home, D&T
Homework
CY is all excited for tomorrow like she always does. LOL!! Damn funny sia~~ Going library to study together only. She chatted with me on the phone just now. I think I surpassed my 100 min call limit. O_O In truth, I can't wait for tomorrow either. :P Haven't seen CL for so long liao, and must laugh with Chee Wai again!! LOL!! Truthfully, I can't wait for tomorrow either. HAHA!!
YAY!! I'm a Sergeant in Millitary Band now!! :DDD Yesterday, Joce and I stayed back with Joyce, Hiram, Edward and a few secondary one girls to fix up and decorate the gifts. Hiram and Ed were being morons as usual. Almost every guy I know like to act moronic. =.=
Xian Jun also!! He kept taking the puppet pencils as voodoo dolls to curse our band seniors not out of spite, but out of boredom. That is pure evil. LOL!! When i had spare time from doing anything, I resorted to my Add Math books for entertainment. Call me a nerd, but EOY is next week. joce and I wrapped the gifts, Joyce and I tied them up, Hiram and I wrote and drew on all 28 notes to our seniors to show our 'love' and glued them to the gifts. In the mean time, Joyce, Joce and the sec ones were gluing buttons of all shapes and sizes onto plain pencil bags to give as presents to the teachers and instructors.
Right after everything, Joce and I went to LJS at NSquare to eat lunner (1/2 lunch 1/2 dinner... LOL!!) and get me tutoring Joce on her E Math's Trigonometry. We were so damn tired and finished off at 7.00 pm.
At the band investiture, I gave Wendy the gift bag with my master piece card and we acted moronic by being all melodramatic about her nearing graduation via our parting. LOL!! Then we did our dance. Too bad Joce wasn't around to do it with us, since it's our dance. She absent herself from school.
Anyway, I didn't know there was an E Math test today, and i didn't study for it, but I think I'll pass since it was quite easy. I couldn't one question only. Hopefully, I did the other questions correctly without any careless mistake. OMGG~!!
Images by the famous Stefan Gosatti. You can check out all the events; just click here.
White is nice, even though it yellows and greys easily over time. Definitely not for long-term keeps, but it's worth wearing the short period.
Emily Cattermole, The Face of the Festival, was wearing a gorgeous white dress by LinPin. Tom Bull, another international model from Perth, was presented as the Youth Ambassador for the Festival. His outfit is by Aelkemi.
Check out Stefan Gosatti's photographic works here. They are awesome!! Here are some examples of his lens works.
One of Aelkemi's men collection down the runway. I thought it was the best out of all the others, so I decided to feature only this. Casual and fun, yet polish and stylish.
Sophi Kyron’s collection is definitely on my A-list!! One look and I know it's my favourite style, right, CY? Hehh... I bet Joce is shaking her head~~ With beautiful embellishments and fine textures and details, all of Kyron's pieces were blooming with edgy romance.
Fine Details award went to Sophie Kyron, pictured left above. The other two are either winners or runner-ups in their own categories, by Ellie Meyer.
These were shown on the 2009 Perth Fashion Festival.
Watched "Aliens in Attic" instead of "G-Force" because Jocelyn didn't want to and we had to miss it 'cos she arrived late. =.= I was kind of pissed throughout the whole outing because I had to ditch studying hours to watch a movie I've already watched and spend $10 on it, which is so not worth it.
Other than that, I'm happy. Jocelyn bought "Twenties Girl" by Sophie Kinsella and some gossip magazine that has some Korean band on the front cover that she's gaga over. She promise to let me read Twenties Girl first, so I'm psyched!!
Anyway, anyone who's watch G-Force already, let me know how great it is, 'cos if it isn't I'm not watching. THX!! I'm sure it should be awesome. :)
It's just about a bunch of government-trained, high-tech guinea pigs out to save the world from something...
Check out the amazing outfits from The Uniform Project. Make a donation. The funds raised will go to the Akanksha Foundation for the education of underprivileged children in India. I HEART THIS!! Today's design: Day 143. Sun, September 20 2009
Qn: Write a story about: (a) An event that changed your life forever or (b) A disappointing holiday
It happened on a chilly Tuesday morning of five o'clock in the year 1999. The start of the day was like every other day. I slithered out of bed reluctantly, teeth chattering and lips numbing. Rui Yee was finished with her bath before me, as usual. And as always, Mama had to drag my cry-baby elder brother, Shawn, out of bed. The usual unpleasant fuss occured, and we were on our way to the bus stop after a whole hour of wails and shrieking lectures between mother and son in the house.
We did not know what the author of our life story had in store for us then. Rui Yee and I huddled together as close as possible to stay warm, pulling our identical orange knit-jackets over our scrawny bodies. We wore our identical sulks we frequently wear. I could feel Mama casting worry glances in our direction as she tried to keep our freedom-hungry brother from escaping her grasp. Mama always worried then. She worried over the fact that Rui Yee and I are underweight and naturally sulky-faced. She worried over her childrens' dyslexia problems and her son's extreme reluctance to go to school. She worried over the bullying of classmates and lack of socialising her children received. She was a very stressed woman then.
In the bus, I got the window seat. Shawn was being difficult, trying to get himself to launch out of the bus' open window but to no avail thanks to Mama's mean, grabbing hands. Rui Yee and I just pinched our lips tighter and stared out of the bus window. As soon as we alighted, Shawn did the unexpected. He wriggled out of Mama's tired arms and dashed onto the road. Mama grew hyserical. All she could do was stare at the menacing 145 bus charge full speed ahead, towards my oblivious brother.
Before I knew it, Rui Yee and I were standing side by side in front of the bus to act as a human shield for Shawn. A second later, all went black.
When I woke up, I found myself lying on a white hospital bed, attached to tubes that were attached to scary machines. I screamed in horror and fear when I saw my face in the mirror. I wailed in misery when I learnt the loss of Rui Yee. The coward of a brother I had had been the one to stop my world from crashing down on me. He tried his hardest to bring out the rare, tinkling laughter from my lips. My small group of friends from school had brought me homework, presents and get-well-soon cards. Even though my parents were devastated over the loss of one of their children, I could see they were relief when they saw the huge amount of consolation I received from many.
They did not know that my biggest consolation of all was Rui Yee. Yes, she was gone. The hateful bus driver had taken her away from me when I still needed her to brave with me through the storms of the future, he had not been able to prevent her ghost from being there for me quietly. Even though I could not see her, I could feel her efforts somehow, quietly pushing me and guiding me back on track whenever I wandered away. I could always hear her silent footsteps running to my side to be with me whenever I'm all alone. She would pull me back on my feet and push me to hurry whenever I fell behind.
She will always be there for me, my little replica, grinning foolishly and staying strong.
Qn: Technological advances bring new marvels to modern living. How different do you foresee our lives wil be like in 10 years?
Beginning of compo --------->
Technology, in this day and age, advances in comparison to the speed of a bullet train.
In Japan, where the latest technology gadgets are produced, mobile phones do not just exist to text messages, receive and give out calls, take photographs and videos, surf the internet and video chat anymore. They can measure a person's percentage of body fat and body temperature, access to the Google satellite to check on the weather and view venues, replace the jobs of i-Pods and MP3s, and act as a long-term, puntual organiser of reminders and appointments.
Fast-forward to ten years later and technology will be unimagineable. However, due to the decreasing amounts in limited sources, I believe humans will be force accept the fact that they can no longer stay on Earth and must migrate to the moon or some other planet temporarily, in hope that Earth will heal with time and become yet again a suitable environment for people to live on. With the advance technology humans wield, I imagine people living in a man-made spacecraft as big as planet Earth, living in the midst of easy luxury and rich education. Pilots and mechanics in charge of maintaining the condition of the spacecraft and the overseeing of Earth's condition, will send advanced robots back to Earth to search for any sign of life that gives humans the chance to return home and resume to their lives.
I imagine humans riding on luxury cable chairs, maneuvering them with buttons, towards the venue they have in mind of going to. Articles of clothing, platters of food, gadgets and video games in bulk, movies, music - All these would be easily achieved with just a press of a button and a brief signing of a signature on a portable piece of cheque. Children would have teaching machines and robots as a governor at home. Medicines would be issued to sick patients from a factory manufacturing medicines, cough masks and thermometers, to the mini-mail box of a patient's cable chair.
No houses will be needed, since all people have to do is press a button and unfold their cable chair into a king-sized bed for nap-time. Cable chairs would not only be able to unfold themselves into beds, they would have an installed, virtual, touch-screen that acts as a computer, television, play station, and contains various contents of the latest and oldest magazines and books.
Once any robot sent on Eath to check up on its' condition returns with concrete evidence of life on Earth and accurate calculations on abundant Earth resources, the humans will have to start packing their bags to head back down to Earth. They will have re-live human history again, resorting to farming, hunting and gathering to gain food and water for survival. They will have to rediscover the making of light bulbs and steps to creating a bonfire. They will have to relearn the ways of working hard for a living on their own without the aid of machines and robots. This is the future I foresee in ten years, and the future that comes after that.
Check some of my favourite clothes from the Ukrainian Fahsion Week catwalk!! The pictures are a little blurred, so you have to zoom it to 100% to make it unblurr if you want a better look. jsut hover your mouse on the left side of the photo, click on the magnifying glass button and press 100.
One look and I know these 3 article of clothings below suits my taste, right JOCE?!! Loll...
Those delicious long satin socks are by Avtandil Tskvitinidze (Georgia). If only they had baby blue with white stripe version...
Awesome pants are by by Darya Taranenko (Ukraine).
Just finished A Math tuition with Yu Jie and lunch. Currently on my way to Anna's house to study with her and CY throughout!! YAY!! Everytime I see the swimming pool at Anna's condo, I feel tempted to just jump into it and swim. I don't know why, but I always have this weird urges.
Once, when I was around kindergarten age, I saw this cat swimming at the canal behind my house, and smiling away. I wanted to jump in and join it but I knew I couldn't swim... Too bad...
YTD night, when watching Harry Potter with JJ from around 2 am to 4 am, Jocelyn started an FB chat conversation with me when she saw me on9. One thing led to another, and she managed to convince me (sigh...) to cut a bit of my study time and spend her birthday with her. So from 5 am to 11 am, I study at home, 11.30 am to 3.00 pm I study at Anna's house again with CY, Hana and Arisa, then 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm with Joce to celebrate her birthday at the dinner X cinema outing. We're gonna sneak food into the theatre. LOL!!
Then from 8.30 onwards study study study...
I always skip PE at school and use that time to be alone in the class to study. I don't have any friends in class, that's why. I'm like, the unpopular loner of the class. My friends ditched me because my blurrness got on their nerves. I've shed many tears over it, and I still do now when I think too much about it, but at least I can turn to studying hard to forget it all and work towards my future. It really hurts to be isolated and looked upon by others as 'the girl whom everyone hates'. Life sucks in class, but I deal with it 'til recess and after school, when I finally can have my other friends with me, and of course, my family members.
Sometimes, I really wished Rui Yee was still here with me, to wipe my tears away and be with me as my classmate, friend ans sister in class, whenever I'm alone. God gave me a twin sister to brave through the storms together, but Hades had to snatch her away from me when I needed her most. I wonder why he didn't do away with me too.
I think I really have to stop coming late for school and skipping school just to avoid them. It's so not worth it and if anyone who's reading this also play truant because of these matters, let me tell you, it's so not worth it. Because the loser will be you in the end and they will carry on with life happily, and it just won't be fair in the end. So in order to make it justiceable, you've just got to thicken your skin a few inches, block out all those people who hurt you and be a workaholic. :DD
YO!! OK, I've just finished up on my new blogskin. There's a little html error but I'll fix it once I have the time. I spent the whole day today relaxing and a bit of studying at TPY NLB with CY, Chee Wai and JJ, so that mean studying all the way for tomorrow and Monday.
I'm so satisfied and relief now, but still a bit annoyed at not being able to study much. BYE~~!!
Hi people!! I just watched Rush Hour 3 on JJ's lappie, and it was oooooookay la... I prefer Rush Hour 1 and 2 more. HAHA!! Talking to K7 on9 now anyway. Booored... And I'm doing my research of notes on Coasts. Ms Lee's given me the worksheets on coasts to work ahead of the class.
GTG study A Math, Math and Physics later. I'm so sorry for the recent short posts. I've been so busy.
Yesterday, went to Ritz Carlton to dine for Bro's birthday. The food was AWESOME I tell you~~!! I miss Ritz so much, Ritz is my best friend!! He got me fat, though...
I just had FUCKING scary nightmare. I was having recess with Muht, Wen Yuan and Jocelyn. We were talking and eating (I forgot what we said). Then I left with Muht early and we walked down the hill and met at some traffic light at the front gate (I don't think there's any nearby traffic light but it's my dream... O_O).
A few girls were there with my crush and his friends. So yeah, Muht was giving me the "Don't panic! Don't panic" face and I just looked at her and no one else to not panic. It was the first time I felt panicked in a dream!! HOW DID HE KNOW?!! And I thought people aren't suppose to feel anything in a dream...
Then suddenly, 'he' turned around and saw me, and his friends said "Ay! She likes you!!" and I was so fucking scared!! Then 'he' told his friend, "Ask her what she wants?" and his friend ask the girls "Ask her what she wants?" and the girls asked me. =.= Then Muht just grabbed my arm and dragged me away from them because by that time, I was scared stiff.
We walked back up the hill while it's still raining, and it seemed forever until we reached the back gate through the car park way. That's when I woke up!! OMGG!! I HATED IT!! And now, thanks ot my dream, I only like 'him' a little. I know it's stupid, but it was SO REAL!!
I went with Arisa, CY and the guys + Ryan to meet up with Yi Huang at SP. It's kind of lame really. Yi Huang and JJ, being Most Moronic and 1st Runner-up Most Moronic on the charts, arranged some challenge over yesterday's dinner on Squash. So yeah, I have to take bus and 2 MRT trains to get to SP with everyone else to watch the challenge. =.= I only allow myself to be dragged into this because we're going karaoke-ing later.
CY and Chee Wai joined JJ and Yi Huang for squash whereas Arisa and I joined the guys and 3 of Yi Huang's classmates for BASKETBALL!! :DDDDD Everyone was surprisingly super hyped up man!! I expected it to be a bit quiet with some squeaky shoe sounds around for the guys, but NOOOO!! Nature just loves proving me wrong. They were shouting and saying "GO Hern Yee!! GO Arisa!!" to Arisa and I, and stuff like that, expecialy Ryan. LOL!! I managed to score 1 out of 4 goals that my group made, and MAN was it fun!! It's been so long since I ran around, throwing, bouncing and catching the orange ball~~
At the toilet, Arisa said our faces were damn red, but I didn't get a good look at it since I went straight into the nearest shower cubicle. Met up with CY, Chee Wai, Ryan and Yi Huang at Mac with the others, and ordered JUST shaker fries with Oreo McFlurry~~ Half way eating, Dada called me and told me I got a few hundred bucks from the Lee Foundation for my good progress in my studies. LOL!! I gotta collect it at some date and shake hands with some important dude in front of a small crowd. When I told CY, the rest was like "WAAA!! A few hundred bucks!!" and Yi Huang kept saying "Lucky lor, you!" =.= JJ called me a geek as usual. Thanks to being a geek, I got $$$ WAHAHA!!
After that, we went to karaoke. The only people who can really carry a tune is YH's classmate, James and CY. I cannot hit the ULTRA high pitches only. It's really trial-and-error. If I can't hit the note, my tone will just zao xia... Who ask Dada and Mama give birth to me with a low voice... :( JJ was no better anyway!! I kept laughing throughout the part when he sang 菊花台!! LOL!! The food was nice~~ Yi Huang was damn enthu-est of all... LOL!!
Arisa, CY and I abandoned the guys to face the wrath of crowded MRT trains whereas we hitched a ride to CY's house in a taxi. We were basically gossiping about JJ and HIS CRUSH ON *ahem* *ahem*. Arisa kept insisting she's since JJ coy before when they talked about *ahem* *ahem*. JJ? Coy? It's been so long since I've seen him coy lor!! He's either very serious, very funny or very sacarstic... Aiya, JJ's a really nice guy la. We've been acquainted with each other for so long, we know each other so we keep mocking each other about our flaws, thus the countless quarrels... He's like a big bro to me la (eventhough he sucks at it)~~
Studied at CY's house for Add Math and I finally understnd Logarithms and Polynomials!! Now, I have to tackle Coord. Geometry, Indices and Surds, and Circles. Damnations... OK BYE BYE!!
Today was AWESOME!! CY and I purposely didn't go to school today and went with her classmate buddy, Siti (she's EXTREMELY nice and chio lor!! 好羡慕哦!) and the already graduated from Ngee Ann Poly 的 Arisa and Sun Yi!! We were talking about Ben and gossiping, as usual, about... stuff!! xDD
We decided to be crazy and catch the 10.50 am movie, Band Slam. It ended at around 12.30 pm and we went to POPULAR to look at the books and stuff. I didn't BUY ANYTHING THIS TIME!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! Ok... Buying a rounded-up-to 5 bucks Jane Austen book, "Emma", is not really considered spending right? It's put to good use what!! Better books than clothes right? Haha!!
I saved up $19 this whole week, spent $4.95 on the book and $2 on Band Fund. So I have about $12 left. That goes to my piggy bank. And I'll have to save another round this coming week, even though it'll be a holiday. I'll still get my money since I have band on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, and some PE stuff on Thursday and Friday (I think I'll skip. I want to see as little of 'them' as possible). And on Tuesday, have to go with Jocelyn to fix up her flute. Damn... I really really want to study...
It makes me wonder if I am the only one here who's feeling lousy over my bad luck in the midst of my 人生故事... Is there anyone out there who's doing worse than me? I doubt it. And those with a better life than me, complaining all about it, fuck them man...
Watched the last ep of 命中注定我爱你!with Mama!! xDD It was funny man!! And speaking of that show (which involves pregnancy), Aunty Linda gonna 生 baby liao!! 恭喜! 恭喜! Mama was so damn happy when she told me the news. She say she gonna bring Aunty Linda and her daughter Alice, with her and I to shop during some day (hopefully not during the next week holiday... sigh...).
Truthfully, I'm sick of shopping already. I shop to often lately, it's getting boring... I rather sit at the library and study, whereby NO ONE (so good riddance, JJ!!) can disturb me!! I can study for eternity there and never get tired (maybe eat, shit, sleep, blog, shop, watch movie & bbq once in a while la, hahaaa~~~), thus gaining eternal knowledge!! WAHAHAHA!!
Anyway, forgot to mention on Wednesday, what had happened. Uncle Kenneth, the dude that works with Mama at Mama's company, decided to invade our big house kitchen and flaunt his chicken rice skills. =.= That meant that Chloey and Kenward would be vising, with their Mama.
Papa went to pick me up after band. He told me that Chloey and Kenward kept asking for me and I went "Shit. That means I must play with them and cannot study lorr..." and Papa told me "You study for a while then play with them. Can wan. You have time"
Alas, when we reached home, Chloey was waiting at the gate and when she saw me, she said "HALO!! I WAIT FOR ONE HOUR, YOU KNOW!!" and I could hear Mama and Uncle Ken laughing in the kitchen. I was like "O_O You waited for me? Wooaaa..."
Then wehn I entered, Kenward stopped drawing and smiled a damn huge grin at me. Mama says he's slightly autistic, which is kind of true since he hardly respond to people, as if he was in his own world. BUT!! Don't be fooled by his meek facade because he can be really LOUD and demanding. Only he gets all disciplined and listens to Papa. =.= Sometimes to me, only when I get really firm and start acting strict, like Papa. Papa's police officer, OK!! ya, butI hate doing that. I'm not an adult anyway, and I don't really have the right to be strict to kiddos... So yeah...
I had to shower and Chloey followed me up the stairs, watch me take my clothes and stand at the mouth of the bathroom's entrance. I talked to her on the way; I showed her my room, the study room, the guests' toilet and Mama's ultra small salon that's connected to the house. I told her to wait for me downstairs when I was going to enter the toilet. So she asked me, "How long?" "10 min." "Huhhhhhh..." The adults downstairs practically roared with laughter. I could even hear Mama say " 'Huhhhh'!! 10 min not enough wo!! HOHOHO!!" =.= Chloey obliged in the end anyway. She waited in the masterbedroom while I entered the shower room that's inter-connected.
Afterwards, Mama got Aunty Mary to take out the Monopoly-Checkers-BlackJack-Chess-Sorry!-etc. wooden set. I played the World Wide Monopoly game with Kenward and Chloey, chess (Chloey + Master Kuon Kuon vs Kenward + Master Papa) and Sorry! with Chloey and Kenward again.
The chicken rice was good. The uncle and aunty running Nestle company came also, and they talked mostly about my studies and bla, and the childhood me, bro and sis had. Yeah... Then there was a bit of talk on the S'pore history of hainanese chicken rice (the kids and I fell asleep at the dinner table during that part)and all. After chicken rice, we had green bean soup, fruits and finally, oreo cheesecake by the Nestle uncle and aunty. You guys know Nestle right? The one that produces Milo, Koko Krunch and all? Yeah, you get my drift. They're really nice and simple people!! I like!! Uncle say he invite us all to golfing next time at the golf club. LOL!! I doubt I'll be able to entertain myself there. Hopefully, they have a book store there.
OK!! just talked to turkey guy on MSN and I'm recharged!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! We were talking stuff as usual, the problems and fun we had for the week, and about the end of the world: Dec 22 2012. :)
XR is still super excited about the time we spent on Teachers' Day, and today she just told me to gather the people again for a second gathering to watch movie. LOL!! YJ wanted to go East Coast Park for BBQ though, and JX wanted to go Sentosa. The rest are up for anything. Some of them said "As long as we got time to smoke". =.= Really man... I don't understand why they like to smoke. I puffed on one stick and hated the taste of it on my tongue. No matter HOW HARD I try to brush my teeth and tongue, the taste stayed for 2 days and 1 night... Urgh... Ya, 大多数的 hor, ah lian and ah beng liao.
Anyway, I told XR we go East Coast fly kite AGAIN, BBQ then for movie at The Cathay la. Don't go Sentosa man... Confirm get sunburn again. I don't wanna have that. Maybe on our 3rd Class Gathering la... HAHA!!
The guys seriously change a lot man!! They are so damn tall la!! Last time all of them were shorter than me lor. I even run faster than them. But when I ran with all of them to the sweet shop, the guys... *sigh...
Anyway, next gathering I don't know what I'm gonna wear man!! Cannot wear my dresses anymore, thanks to freaking East Coast... Maybe just jeans and shirt la. Haha!!
Plus, on Sunday got Urban Run at BHSS, followed by Esplanade concert with bandmates to watch Mr Leng perform. Then I'll wear my dress, since Maple is also wearing. Haha!! Also gonna change my haird a bit. CY 说“这是命令!” so she'll be doing my hair and make-up. Ugh. Blame my parents for giving me bad (but not so bad la!) fashion sense. :DDD
Dining at Pizza Hut instead, shopping, dancing to awesome songs and partying 'til dawn. That's how I spent the night Teachers' Day with those great people man!!
Anyway, here's my thanks to those awesome teachers:
Mrs Lim
Mr Wee
Miss Fong
Miss Pok
Mrs AL Lim
Mdm Ng
Ms Hazelee
Mr Faizal
Mr Chan
Mrs Leong
Mrs Cheah
Mrs Seah
Mr Tan
Mdm Wong
Thank you so much for your guidance, you care and concern. You guys always say "I can always don't care and leave you to rot while I still get my salary", but still continue teaching us. I earned 229 points for PSLE, A* in EL, A in Math, B in Science and B in Chinese. Even though I couldn't get all As (since A stands for 'Average' instead of 'Awesome' in your world), I promise I will achieve better in the future, and treat you guys to a big dinner.

Beginning of compo --------->

Thank you so much for your guidance, you care and concern. You guys always say "I can always don't care and leave you to rot while I still get my salary", but still continue teaching us. I earned 229 points for PSLE, A* in EL, A in Math, B in Science and B in Chinese. Even though I couldn't get all As (since A stands for 'Average' instead of 'Awesome' in your world), I promise I will achieve better in the future, and treat you guys to a big dinner.
I take a lot of interest in the arts and sciences. You can say that I'm a geek, or something like that. I take a huge interest in learning the arts, literature, nature, photography, biology, physics, chemistry, etc.
I also love reading, especially books ranging in the classics, fantasy, thriller, crime-buster, in-popular-demand or highly-recommended category. I also browse through educational magazines once in a while.
I LOVE English Literature. I love Science too, but not as much. There's just so much to know in both categories, it's like a never-ending mystery. I don't really know how to describe how exactly it is wonderful. I just find it so, SO awesome.
I like to look at beautiful things, and that's where art comes in. I like looking at designs on anything, absolutely anything. Furniture, nature, sceneries, stamps, stickers, note books, prints, cakes, food, wood crafts, pottery, paintings, drawings, words, etc.
I enjoy good music, vocal and instrumental. My preference to the genres of music depends on my mood. It changes from time to time.
I love food. Chinese, western, Indian, Malay, you name it. I'm not really cut out to be a cook, but I love cooking all the same, especially baking.
I like active sports too. Jogging, taking walks and sprinting is not really my thing, unless I feel like it, which comes only once in a blue moon. I prefer playing friendly sports like basketball, soccer, badminton, volley and tennis. I love water sports too, like swimming and scuba-diving, although I seldom get the opportunity to do so.
I also love going out and hanging out with my family friends. Sometimes, I prefer going out alone. I usually hang out at the library or some book stores when I go out alone, maybe because I like quiet, peaceful places to do my stuff. When I'm with my friends, we'd be at the cinemas, or mini-food bars, restaurants, fast-food outlets, or neo-print booths. We can be just about anywhere and everywhere! Just being with them brings out my out-going side.
Whenever I go out with my family, its either for meals or bookstores or errands. I always look forward to such trips. Mainly because all of us are a funny bunch. We say and do stupid stuff so naturally, I always enjoy listening to the laughter and small comments that follows. It's like we're all playing out a sitcom family film.
Oh, oh! And I LOVE animals! Dogs, cats, elephants, horses, rabbits, hamsters, birds, bears, penguins, cubs, fawns, etc. I always find myself reading deeply into how a certain specie of animals lives in magazines such as "Discovery Box", "Current Science" and "National Geographic".
Another thing I like is fashion. It depends on my mood when it comes to shopping but I love looking at clothes and accessories. I don't really like earrings and necklaces. Whenever I see people wearing earrings and necklaces, I can't help but think it makes them look slightly unattractive.
About Me
People say I can be really blur and clueless. I don’t know. I don’t really know myself much. I play the sweet, mild flute in Military Band. I'm usually with my old friends; Cai Yue, Cai Long, Arisa, Hana, Chee Wai, Jun Jie, Wei Jie, Anna, Wei Ting, Ha Lin, Say Kiat and Lindy. I sometimes hang out with my BHSS buddies; Muhtadin, Buvana, Jocelyn, Xin Rong, Roselyn, Jing Xian, Nigel, Peggy, Maple, Tam, Wen Yuan and Stephanie. Those names in bold are the ones I’m closest with overall.
